Wimbledon Women in Business go “Out Out”!

It’s been pretty much two long years since we last met in person, but on 15th September, Wimbledon’s Women in Business met at the Rose and Crown in Wimbledon Village and we had a ball!  It was a new venue for us, and it worked a treat.  A sheltered, but outdoor heated space at the back of the garden, nibbles and lashing of wine, along with a long overdue catch up with old friends and colleagues.

It was fantastic to hear what everyone had managed to do during lockdown. Tours of the Outer Hebrides, purchase of a camper van providing the freedom of the open road, plenty of staycation in the UK, not to mention a few bouts of COVID, lest we forgot what the last 18 months have been about.

As well as all that, we are also delighted to welcome two guests to the party:

Now it looks like we are coming out of the other side of the pandemic, WWIB is looking forward to re-instating our in-person meetings and enjoying a resurgence in all our businesses.  However, we may still need to wear our thermals and plenty of warm clothes when we meet, but we are all more than up for dealing with the outdoors, if and when we need to!
